Meyer Food Co. was founded in 1988 by identical twin brothers Nicholas and Michael Meyer, who brought together their unique skills and lifelong passion for good food. After immigrating to Australia, they discovered the superior quality of Australian beef and set out to transform the way people experience meat. They pioneered the sous vide cooking process, becoming Australia’s largest dedicated manufacturer of sous vide foods.

 

This modern technique, developed by culinary innovators, allows consistent textures and flavours that elevate everyday meals. As a family-owned business employing over 100 staff – including Nick’s sons Anthony and Alex, who are Managing Director and Sales Director, respectively – Meyer Food Co. is committed to making delicious, high-quality food accessible to everyone, continually striving for improvement and sustainability in its practices.
